Sudan Unrest: ‘Issues resolved, they have started moving’ – Abike Dabiri-Erewa

Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has said, Nigerian students stranded on their way to Egypt from Khartoum, Sudan “have stated moving”.

She said, there were “issues between NEMA and the transport company”, which led to the students being stranded on their way.

However, she revealed that, the “issues have been resolved”.

Nigerian students being evacuated to Egypt from war-torn Sudan had earlier cried, “we don’t know where we are”, but have continued their journey to Egypt, as revealed by Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa quoted the tweet of the video of the stranded Nigerian students and commented: “I have just spoken to the 

@nemanigeria . They have started moving and the issues between Nema and the transport company have been resolved”.
