The topflight encounter between Bologna and Juventus will take place on Sunday 30 April, 2023 at the Stadio Renato Dell’Ara at 19:45 (Nigerian Time).
At his pre-match press conference, Allegri said, Juventus has “had a poor run with five defeats”, however, the Italian professional manager believes the match at Bologna “is a chance to turn things around”.
Allegri confessed “Bologna and Thiago Motta are doing an excellent job”.
The Old Lady Boss said: “We’ve had a poor run, with five defeats. Tomorrow is a chance to turn things around but Bologna and Thiago Motta are doing an excellent job.
“We have 35 important days ahead of us – we need to work hard and take action, because when you don’t win you’re in the wrong. We need to react to this.
“There’s always a lot of speculation when you talk about Juventus. I’ll say it again: the only thing to do is stop talking and get down to work.
“The aim is to get to this point of the season still with a shout in the competitions we’re in. A club like ours has to be in the Champions League next year, including for financial reasons. We also have the Europa League final in our sights.
“We’re not in our best form, which is natural when you have players returning from lengthy lay-offs. We need time to get back to a high level. That said, we’re lucky to have young, reliable and capable players.
“I have a lot of respect for the fans, who I am grateful to. On my side, I can only speak about professionalism, honesty and commitment. But there are challenges in life and we do all we can to overcome them, starting by getting back to winning ways.
“It’ll be a very tough match tomorrow. We need to win the first of several we need to get the points necessary for a Champions League spot. We’ll have to be solid, focused and aggressive, while respecting Bologna.”
