The English Premier League outfit are considering Burnley manager, Vincent Kompany and Mauricio Pochettino.
However, former Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann, is no longer interested in taking over at Stamford Bridge.
The recruitment process is being handled by the club’s Sporting Directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley.
After less than seven months in charge, Chelsea relieved Graham Potter of his managerial duties at the beginning of April, following a two-goal-to-nil defeat by Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are eleventh (11th) on the top flight table.
Frank Lampard, former manager of Chelsea, was then employed as interim manager and will stay until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Vincent Kompany, who is former defender of Manchester City, has done beautifully well, helping Burnley gain promotion from Championship to the Premier League in his first year in charge.
