No doubt, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are currently the most in-form football club in the world – this is based on my own assessment following their recent victories against other heavyweight football clubs across Europe.
In their latest clash, Manchester City crushed English Premier League toppers, Arsenal, by four goals to one at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday 26 April, 2023.
It was an easy cruise to triumph for the blazing hot Citizens.
With the introduction of Norwegian sharpshooter, Erling Braut Haaland, the “Noisy Neighbours” have not slowed down in scoring goals – it has been goal galore in almost all City’s encounters with the Premier League Kings netting the most.
Recently, Manchester City knocked out German Bundesliga reigning kings, Bayern Munich, from the Uefa Champions League 2022/23 in the quarter final stage of the continental tournament.
The English side clinched a 3-0 victory at the Etihad, Manchester, England, and settled for a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena, Munich, Germany.
Honestly, it was very easy for Manchester City to boot out Bayern Munich from the Uefa Champions League 2022/23.
With all these beautiful achievements by Manchester City, the Uefa Champions League is asking “Who’s stopping them?”
There is a possibility of a treble for Pep Guardiola this season – FA Cup, Premier League and the Uefa Champions League.
After all, he has the requirements!
• Who’s stopping them? Will Pep Guardiola finish with a treble?
