Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has sent his congratulatory message to Anthony Joshua after his triumph over Jermaine Franklin.

Joshua, 33-year old Briton, defeated Franklin, 29-year old American, by unanimous points at the O2 Arena in London, England, on Saturday 1 April, 2023.
Tinubu said, “determination always pays off”, as he sends “congratulations” to Anthony Joshua.
Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua was born in Watford, England to a Nigerian mother and a Nigerian-Irish Father.
