Eid Al-Fitr: ‘Sustain the values and morals observed and imbibed during Ramadan’ – Governor Abiodun

Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has congratulated “Muslims all over the world, especially in Ogun State, for the successful completion of their fasting during the Holy Month of Ramadan”.

He charged “them on sustaining the values, morals and tenets of Islam that were observed and imbibed during Ramadan”.

Also, he seized the opportunity to remind the people of the Southwestern State that, “our Administration remains committed to encouraging inter-religious harmony”.

Governor Abiodun said: “I congratulate Muslims all over the world, especially in Ogun State, for the successful completion of their fasting during the Holy Month of Ramadan, and for experiencing the rare privilege to have witnessed another Eid-el-Fitr.


“I would also like to charge them on sustaining the values, morals and tenets of Islam that were observed and imbibed during Ramadan, and strive to continue such with total devotion to Almighty Allah (SWT).


“As adherents of Islam, they should use the period of Eid-el-Fitr to supplicate to God and pray for the peace, unity, progress and development of Nigeria in general and Ogun State in particular.


“Our Administration remains committed to encouraging inter-religious harmony in the State, espousing good governance, and ensuring that people remain an integral focus of our policies and programmes.
