Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, celebrating Easter, has urged “fellow Christians to reflect the embodiment of Jesus Christ through his teachings and love”.

Governor Abiodun also said, “God will help our nation, Nigeria to overcome its present challenges”, and reaffirmed to the people of the Southwestern State “Our Administration’s commitment to the delivery of good governance in terms of infrastructural development”.
He said: “As we celebrate Easter, I urge fellow Christians to reflect the embodiment of Jesus Christ through his teachings, virtues and message of love.
“Let us be inspired by the symbolic representation of the resurrection of Jesus Christ which is God’s gift to communicate love, hope and peace to mankind.
“Indeed, this celebration calls for a sober reflection on the death of Jesus Christ on Mount Calvary, his genuine love and intercession for mankind, and we pray that as Jesus Christ conquered death and arose from the tomb after three days,…
“… God will help our nation, Nigeria to overcome its present challenges.
“Our Administration’s commitment to the delivery of good governance in terms of socioeconomic and infrastructural development towards defeating these challenges, has not wavered and is in full gear.
“Congratulations on witnessing another glorious Easter.”
