Oshiomhole was born 4 April, 1952 in Auchi, Edo State; was former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He previously served as the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) from 1999 to 2007. Also, he governed Edo State for two terms of four year each – from 2008 to 2016.
