The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has sent a caution to the general public on fake news run by individuals with “ill intentions posing as the CBN”.
The Nigerian Apex Bank said: “It is important to be cautious and vigilant of fake news, pages, or accounts run by individuals with ill intentions posing as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).”
