Bayern Munich new manager, Thomas Tuchel, has made some comments about Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane, ahead of the DFB Pokal match against Freiburg on Tuesday 4 April, 2023.

The Bavarians will lock horns with Freiburg in the DFB Pokal at the Allianz Arena. It will be Tuchel’s second match as the new head coach of the Bundesliga defending champions.
Tuchel said, despite the Senegal international’s age, he still has the “quality” Bayern needs and “can add” more to the team positively.
About Sadio Mane, at a press conference, Tuchel said: “I know him from my time in England. There’s no doubting his quality and what he can add. Even at his age, you always need time to acclimatise after a transfer. It’s about having trust and patience.”
