Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Expressway: Infrastructure update – FMWH

The Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Expressway is 385km long.

According to the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, “The Abuja—Kaduna—Zaria—Kano Expressway is 375km long, with about 41 bridges in all:


“Zaria—Kano section (137KM) will be completed by May 15, 2023


“Kaduna—Zaria (73KM) will be completed by April 30, 2023.


“Abuja—Kaduna section (longest & busiest section; 165.5KM) will not be completed before the end of this administration, owing to delays arising from various factors, including Right of Way issues & the ongoing Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano Gas Pipeline Project that runs through the route.”
