President Muhammadu Buhari has “virtually flagged off oil exploration activities in Nasarawa State” on Tuesday 28 March, 2023.

“The spud-in of the Ebenyi-A Well will ultimately deliver outcomes that benefit surrounding communities, lead to greater prosperity for all Nigerians, & enhance our overall energy security”, President Buhari said.
Buhari also directed the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Limited) as well as its partners “to do everything necessary to mitigate the environmental consequences of these oil exploration activities”.
