Peter Obi celebrates Nigerian born Professor at Florida University for winning ‘largest history prize in the world’

“Nigerian born Prof Saheed Aderinto” has won the “largest history prize in the world” in the United States of America (USA).

Prof. Saheed Aderinto is a “Professor of History and African Diaspora Studies at the Florida International University”.

He “won the $300,000 Dan David Prize—the largest history prize in the world”.

2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has come out to “celebrate and felicitate” with Prof. Aderinto for his beautiful achievement, making him the “first and only Nigerian” to bag “the prestigious prize”.

Obi said: “Today, I celebrate and felicitate with our Nigerian born Prof Saheed Aderinto, a Professor of History and African Diaspora Studies at Florida International University, who recently won the $300,000 Dan David Prize—the largest history prize in the world.


“Prof Aderinto is the First and only Nigerian to have been awarded such prestigious prize in recognition of his outstanding scholarship in the very important field of history.
