Dr. Okowa congratulates Adeleke on his triumph at the Appeal Court in Abuja, “which upheld his election as the Governor of Osun State”.
The Delta State Governor interpreted Ademola Adeleke’s victory as a “positive sign that Osun State is heading towards a brighter future”.
Ademola Adeleke, under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), discomfited the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) alongside its Candidate, Adegboyega Oyetola, at the Abuja Court to retain his position as the Executive Governor of Osun State.
The APC and Oyetola had sought to nullify Adeleke’s victory at the 16 July, 2022 Governorship Election in the Southwestern State on the ground of over-voting.
Dr. Okowa said: “I congratulate my dear brother, Governor Ademola Adeleke, on his victory at the Court of Appeal, which upheld his election as the Governor of Osun State.
“This win is a testament to the support and admiration that Governor Adeleke has earned from his fellow citizens, and a positive sign that Osun State is heading towards a brighter future.”
