Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has “presented bond certificates to contributory pensioners” in the State.

While presenting the bond certificates on Thursday 9 March, 2023, the Governor “reassured the people of our administration commitment to addressing the inherited debts and workers’ welfare”.
Governor Adeleke said: “Earlier today, we presented bond certificates to contributory pensioners in Osun State. This is in continuation of our commitment to workers’ welfare in and out of service. We have so far released a sum of N1.528B for bond certificates for retired workers of both State and LG.
“While a sum of N350M had equally been released as gratuities to retired staff of primary schools, secondary schools, tertiary institutions, civil servants, staff of parastatals etc. I apologised on behalf of the State to our pensioners for the ill treatment of the past.
“I reassured the people of our administration commitment to addressing the inherited debts and workers’ welfare.”
