13th President of the Nigerian Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has sent congratulatory message to Ademola Adeleke following his victory at the Appeal Court in Abuja against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate, Adegboyega Oyetola.

Former Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), lost in the 16 July, 2022 Gubernatorial Election conducted in Osun State to Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Oyetola had sought to nullify Adeleke’s victory on the ground of over-voting however, the “unanimous decision of the three judges of the Appeal Court” sitting in Abuja, upheld Ademola Adeleke’s victory as the duly elected Executive Governor of Osun State.
