Chioma Uzodimma, Founder of GoodHope Flourish Foundation, in her message, said “words are not enough to appreciate the great sacrifices involved in raising a child”.
First Lady of Imo State, Chioma Uzodimma, said: “There are not enough words we can say that truly explains or appreciates the great responsibility and sacrifices involved in raising a child.
“Today, I celebrate and honour our mothers who were our first teachers, friends, mentors, entertainers, accountants…
“…and doctors who spent their waking hours ensuring that we do not feel hungry, or sad, or unkempt.
“Their obligation to us has cut through every area; emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically, and financially for half of our lives.
“The least we can do is to honour their motherhood, their sacrifices, their love, and their care. For it is a duty and compassion we do not owe and one we can never pay back. Happy Mother’s Day!”
