Governor Uzodimma visits Buhari for ‘restoration of tranquility in Imo State’

Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, paid President Muhammadu Buhari a visit at his country home in Daura, Katsina State, Northwestern Nigeria, for the “restoration of tranquility in Imo State”.

Uzodimma revealed his discussion with President Buhari “bothered around the progress of security operations in Imo State” as well as “other FG/Imo State developmental partnerships”.

Governor Uzodimma said: “I paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at his country home in Daura, Katsina State, where he has been on private engagements.


“My discussion with Mr President bordered around, but not limited to, the progress of security operations and restoration of tranquility in our dear Imo State and other FG/Imo State developmental partnerships.


“The progression of ongoing partnered projects were not left out in our discussion and Mr President was elated at the report which indicates advancement of work.


“As usual, I did not hesitate to ask for more assistance in our developmental drive and I believe my requests will receive needed Presidential attention.”
