The “Servant of Truth” mentioned Festus Keyamo as one of the eight.
Keyamo is the Official Spokesperson for Campaign Council of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In his message revealing the “eight people”, Fani-Kayode said: “Courage under fire is a very rare commodity in the politics of Nigeria.
“There are eight people that never cease to amaze me when it comes to the display of that courage and standing up for truth regardless of the threats, insults, allegations, mendacities, harassment, falsehood and intimidation that they are subjected to on a daily basis.
“They are

“It has been an honor to stand shoulder to shoulder with them in the Tinubu/Shettima PCC Media Team and the

, during the course of the election and in this great and historic battle.
“Thanks to their collective diligence, loyalty, fortitude, courage, insight, wisdom and commitment we fought a good fight, prevailed in the battle, overwhelmed our enemies and won the war.
“On 29th May, after the inauguration and swearing-in of our incoming President, a new era in the annals of Nigerian politics and history will begin.
“These great names shall never be forgotten and posterity and history shall be kind to each of them for the selfless and sacrificial role they played when others either sat on the fence or shied away from combat and conflict and instead ran for cover.
“They are indeed what the Holy Bible describes as “valiant men” and “strong men”, each imbued with the deep, mystical and inexplicable courage of Thomas Babington Macauly’s great hero Horatio who stood at the Roman gate in his famous 19th century poem titled Layers of Ancient Rome.
“Until our detractors sheath their swords, accept the reality of their defeat, desist from destabilising our country and bend the knee before our President-elect, may God continue to shame and frustrate them and may they continue to lament and wail, roll all over the floor, foam at the mouth, pull out their hair, spew out their vitriol, gnash their teeth, shed bitter tears, and choke on their bile.
“May He protect and lead our President-elect in this great task and burden that providence, destiny and God has bestowed upon him and may the Lord guide us all in the service of our great nation.
“Glory to our motherland Nigeria!
“She shall flourish, she shall prosper, she shall excel, she shall wax strong in battle and she shall rise up to where she belongs!”
