AFCON 2023 Qualification: ‘Victor Boniface was not invited’ – NFF

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has come out to clarify that, Victor Boniface was not invited to feature for the Super Eagles in their Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) 2023 qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau.

The Nigerian Football governing body further clarified, Boniface made it to the “provisional list” however, did not make the “final list”.

Victor Boniface is a professional footballer who fields as a forward for Belgian Pro League club, Union SG, born in Nigeria and aged 22.

The NFF clarified: “By way of clarification, Victor Boniface was not invited for the Super Eagles’ AFCON Qualifiers against Guinea Bissau. He was on the provisional list but didn’t make the final list, and therefore was not sent a flight ticket.”
