Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, made the announcement saying “our expansion is an indication that we are doing something right as a political party”.
The Ogun State Governor also said, he is “optimistic of victory” in the forthcoming 2023 governorship election on Saturday 11 March, 2023.
Governor Abiodun said: “We have also received some members of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Abeokuta into our fold.
“The defectors were led by their leader, Hon. Akeem Amosun, a former PDP House of Representatives aspirant for Abeokuta South Federal Constituency.
“Our expansion and increment is an indication of the fact that we are doing something right as an administration and political party.
“We’re optimistic our achievements will earn us another victory at the polls, come next week Saturday.”
