The 2023 Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections are ongoing in different Polling Units across Nigeria.
Governor Uzodimma further said “Imo State atmosphere is conducive as ndi Imo courageously exercise their franchise”.
Governor Hope Uzodimma said: “My wife, Barr. (Mrs) Chioma Uzodimma and I joined our kinsmen in exercising our civic duty at our polling unit 032, Omuma Ward in Oru East LGA, Imo State.
“Given the controversy generated by the technical glitch experienced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the February 25th Presidential and National Assembly Elections, one would have expected a huge voter apathy but that is not the case.
“I am glad that the measures we put in place for a conducive atmosphere ahead of the elections are worthwhile as ndi Imo are courageously exercising their franchise. We will continue to consolidate all positive efforts for the safety of all.”
