According to a legal notice filed by the injured teacher, a six-year old boy who shot a teacher at the Richneck Elementary in Virginia, allegedly once choked another teacher “until she couldn’t breathe”.

The alleged past behavioural problems of the child was exposed in a notice to claim letter sent by her lawyer.
25-year old Abby Zwerner, the teacher who was shot by the six-year old, has revealed her intention to sue the Newport News School district for alleged negligence.
Zwerner is recovering after being shot at the School by her pupil on 6 January, 2023.
The notice of claim which was obtained by the Associated Press, outlines allegations of previous behavioural problems the child is said to have had in the school, encompassing cursing at staff and teachers, using his belt to try to whip fellow students and choking a teacher.
