The World Health Governing Body says there is a danger there will be another disaster which may inflict more harm to the people than the initial earthquake.
Several United Nations (UN) trucks loaded with aid have successfully crossed into Syria through Turkey. It is the first international help Syrians affected by the huge earthquake have received.
Rescue workers in both countries are still on their energy-draining work, however, hopes are dying for those still trapped under rubbles of collapsed structures.
