This was part of the activities lined up for President Buhari as he visits the State for the Presidential Campaign rally of the 2023 Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, said, “the show of love to Mr. President is just a tip of an iceberg to the hospitality”.
Via a statement, Governor Uzodimma said:
As part of the activities lined up for President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday when he arrived at Owerri for the Presidential Campaign rally of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC),
he paid a courtesy visit to ndi Eze Imo State at the Eze Imo Palace Mbari, Owerri where he was conferred with a Chieftaincy title of “Nwanne di na mba”.
This show of love by the Traditional Rulers to Mr. President, is just a tip of an iceberg to the hospitality we are known for in the State and this we shall translate to electoral victory in favor of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
