The hosts were in charge throughout the encounter with Rodri opening scoring for Pep Guardiola’s side early, in the 4th minute, after heading Riyad Mahrez’ corner at the near post.
Ilkay Gundogan tapped the second in the 39th minute, and Mahrez made it three for the Citizens from the penalty spot following a foul on Jack Grealish.
