Various parts of Lagos experienced several violent occurrences as some angry youths took to the streets to unleash chaos and vandalize properties, forcing motorists to make U-turns, school children as well as passers-by run for their lives.
It is now confirmed that “normalcy has been restored”, according to the Lagos Traffic Reports.
Lagos State Police Command, Public Relations Officer (PRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said: “Free movement of vehicles and people fully restored.”
“Trouble makers will surely be dealt with while law abiding citizens will be protected,” CP Idowu Owohunwa said.
