Manchester United have reached the final of the Carabao Cup after beating Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the semi final second-leg match at Old Trafford on Wednesday 1 February, 2023.

Thanks to goals from Anthony Martial and Fred. The hosts won 5-0 on aggregate.
The introduction of Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in the second half gave Manchester United a fresh confidence against their visitors.
Martial opened scoring for the Red Devils in the 73rd minute and Fred sealed victory for Erik Ten Hag’s side in the 76th minute.
Manchester United will slug it out with Newcastle United in the final of the Carabao Cup at the Wembely Stadium on February 26.

Manchester United last lifted a trophy in 2017, when Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho won the Europa League.
This could be Dutch Manager Erik Ten Hag’s chance to clinch a trophy in his first season at Old Trafford.
