Reports have it that AC Milan will be erecting the new stadium alone and are willing to part ways with their city rivals.
Both AC Milan and Inter had approved a project known as ‘The Cathedral’ barely 12 months ago. A shared stadium that should have been erected in San Siro.
However, the new AC Milan owner wants to erect a new stadium alone, without involving their city rivals.
The three potential spots have been identified by the Serie A reigning champions – The first option is in Sesto San Giovanni, just outside Milan; second option is San Donato, also just outside Milan; while the third is ‘La Maura’, a 75-hectare space not too distant from San Siro
