Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, welcomed the 2023 Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to the state for his 2023 Presidential Campaign rally.

The Governor also received President Muhammadu Buhari alongside other top personalities of the APC to the Southeastern State.
Uzodimma pleaded with the people of Imo State to “reciprocate the love and support” the state has been basking in from the All Progressives Congress (APC) “by voting the party all through in the forthcoming general elections”.
At the APC Presidential Campaign rally, which took place at the “Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri”, Uzodimma described Imo State’s “partnership with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)” as “productive and beneficial”.
He also talked about Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Project”, saying it is “people-centric with a view to providing more suitable atmosphere for commerce & trade”.
Governor Uzodimma made these statements via a message sent to the People of Imo State. He said:
To whom much is given, much is expected! This universally accepted philosophy will not be inapplicable in the case of Imo State’s relationship with the All Progressives Congress (APC) led Fed. Govt, having benefited immensely from the magnanimity of President Muhammadu Buhari.
These were my positions today, as we welcomed President Muhammadu Buhari, who joined us at the Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri, for the Presidential Campaign rally of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Under my leadership as the Executive Governor of our dear Imo State and through the benevolence of His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, our partnership with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has been productive and beneficial to our good.
As symbiotic as it is, the time has come for us, as a State, to reciprocate the love and support we have received so far from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and this we must do by voting the party all through in the forthcoming general elections.
In consonance with the commitment of our Presidential Candidate, H.E. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for a consolidation on the gains of President Muhammadu Buhari, the “Renewed Hope” project is people-centric with a view to providing more suitable atmosphere for commerce & trade.
My good people of Imo State, the time has come, our affinity to the national politics must be sustained by voting the All Progressives Congress (APC) in all positions.
