The “Nationwide campaign rallies” of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) “peaked in Lagos” on Tuesday 21 February, 2023.
The 2023 Presidential mega rally of the APC 2023 Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, took place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
Sanwo-Olu was stunned at the “show of love and support” showered upon Tinubu alongside his running mate, Kashim Shettima by the massive supporters at the venue.
“I have no doubt APC will be victorious” on Saturday 25 February, 2023, the Governor said.
Governor Sanwo-Olu said: “Today, Lagosians trooped out yet again to support their own, when the nationwide presidential campaign rallies of our dear party, The All Progressives Congress (APC), peaked in Lagos.
“The reception, support, show of love and acceptance was befitting of a grand finale.
“The sight of the crowd that accompanied Bola Ahmed Tinubu motorcade to the stadium further demonstrates that Lagos remains a stronghold of the progressives, and for this, we thank you for your overwhelming support, and for keeping faith with our party, and our presidential candidate.
“On Saturday, we have another opportunity to consolidate the support which you have shown our party. I urge you all to troop to your polling stations and massively vote for the man who has the capacity to take the country to a different level of development.
“Let’s walk this talk, let’s make it happen. With your support, I have no doubt APC will be victorious.
“Thank you all once again, and God bless you.”
