The Collation Centre for the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly elections located in Jos North Local Government Secretariat was attacked by thugs who tried to disrupt the Collation and announcement of the results on Monday.

The thugs were prevented temporarily from entering the hall due to reinforcement of security to the venue, however, the thugs successfully gained access into the premises while sorting and collating for Polling Units from regions of the Local Government.
Oliver Tersoo Agundu, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Plateau State, told newsmen, the Commission will investigate the matter and come up with a decision.
