Whytney Adeniran, 12, died during Chrisland School’s inter-house sports competition at Agege Stadium, Lagos State on Thursday.

Dr. Michael Adeyemi Adeniran, Whytney’s father, said, she had no health condition or sickness as at the time the school picked her up for the event.
He further said, the school gave him and his wife no explanation concerning their daughter’s demise.
His wife was present at the Agege Stadium, venue of the inter-house sports competition, however, the school did not alert her about the unfortunate incident immediately, he said.
He called on the Lagos State Government and the Police to take up the matter and ensure justice is served.
