The Magpies sealed victory after Alexander Isak netted a late winner, in the 89th minute, through a header at close range to help the hosts move to third, above Manchester United, though, both sides have amassed same 38 points, however, the former has more goals.
The Cottagers were handed a beautiful opportunity to take the lead, but, Aleksandar Mitrovic lost the chance from the penalty spot in the 70th minute.
