Graham Potter’s side were on top all through and could have recorded few goals, however, had to make do with German forward Kai Havertz’ second half header to seal essential triumph.
Chelsea also unveiled their latest signing from Ukrainian club, Shakhtar Donetsk, Mykhaylo Mudryk whose transfer to Stamford Bridge has been signed and sealed after the player agreed personal terms with the English Premier League club.

Successfully converting Hakim Ziyech’s beautiful cross, Havertz scored the only goal of the match for Chelsea through a header in the 64th minute.
