Liverpool heaped more pressure on their hosts as they searched for a leveller, however, the Bees stood their ground and went ahead to add a third in the 84th minute through Bryan Mbeumo.
With this outcome, Liverpool sit on the sixth spot of the Premier League table with 28 points while Brentford are seventh after accumulating 26 points.
