Femi Ogunrombi, popularly called Papa Ajasco has died as announced by Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP).

The initial announcement of the death of the actor was made by Dr. Husseini Shaibu.
WAP in a statement said: “sad to say goodbye to one-time ‘Papa Ajasco'”.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, 2023 Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has sent his “condolences to family and friends of Femi Ogunrombi”.
Atiku further said ‘Papa Ajasco’ is “unforgettable and will be sorely missed.”
The former Vice President of Nigeria wrote: “Femi Ogunrombi, better known as ‘Papa Ajasco’ in Wale Adenuga’s popular comedy series, brought joy and laughter into our homes. He is unforgettable and will be sorely missed.
“I express my condolences to his family and friends and the fraternity of Nollywood and the Actors Guild of Nigeria. May his soul rest in peace.”
