Manchester United took the lead early, in the 4th minute, through Antony but ten minutes later Coady equalized for Frank Lampard’s side following a strange error by goalkeeper David de Gea.

Defender Coady put the ball past his own goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the second half after converting Marcus Rashford’s cross.

The visitors came very close to levelling but Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s goal was disallowed for offside in the build-up.

In the 7th minute of additional time, Rashford sealed victory for Erik Ten Hag’s side from the penalty spot with the third.
