Mikel Arteta’s men defeated their hosts 4-2 and carted all three points away.
This result takes Arsenal seven points clear atop the Premier League table.
According to Arsenal.com:
Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli all found the net during a six-goal thriller on the south coast, to ensure seven points clear at the top of the Premier League and provide plenty of new year’s cheer for Gooners everywhere.
Brighton came back and netted twice before full-time, sandwiched between a Gabriel Martinelli effort to safely secure our first win at the home of the Seagulls since 2017.
