This week, the state of California in the United States (US) is bracing for more severe weather, with warnings from forecasters of an incoming “relentless parade of cyclones”.

California has already suffered days of heavy downpours and devastating winds that claimed 12 lives.
According to Governor Gavin Newsom, 12 people died as a result of the harsh weather in California within 10 days.
Governor Newsom issued a warning on Sunday that the most unpleasant weather is due in the next 48 hours.
At a news conference, he said: “We expect to see the worst of it still ahead of us. Don’t test fate.”
The United States (US) National Weather Service (NWS) said, the heaviest rain which is expected to be the most widespread, will probably happen on Tuesday morning and afternoon.
Also, warning has been issued to areas around Los Angeles which includes the San Bernardino County Mountains and the Orange County.
