Obi was graciously and warmly received by his Delta Obidients as well as the Asagba of Asaba as he arrived the state for the rally.
The rally in Warri went successfully as the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate came out to show his appreciation, saying, “we willnever let you down”.
He wrote: “Delta OBIdients, Thank you all for your very gracious and warm reception. We will never let you down!”
However, he apologized to the traditional rulers and the people of Delta Central for not carrying out the visits after his supporters, Obidients, gathered at “Olomu” waiting for him.
Obi gave his reason for failing to “visit” his Obidient family in Delta Central, saying it was due to “the mammoth crowd”. He went ahead to promise to “repeat the visits”.
He wrote: “I sincerely want to apologise to the Traditional Rulers and the people of Delta Central, who gathered at Olomu, the people of Isoko who I was supposed to meet at Oleh and the people of Agbor who came out in their numbers to welcome me to their domains.
“However, it became impossible to carry out the visits following the mammoth crowd. I apologise and promise to repeat the visits.”
