Labour Party (LP) 2023 Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, his running mate, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, alongside their “spouses” have announced they will visit the “ancient city of Kano” on Sunday 22 January, 2023.

Peter Obi said, he will be in Kano to “carry on with the message of our national movement to rescue Nigeria.”
He went ahead to say, “those who have destroyed our country must be shown the way out”, also bringing to the knowledge of the “youths” that “Nigeria’s future belongs” to them.
Obi wrote: “Today, Datti and I, together with our spouses will be in the ancient City of Kano to carry on with the message of our national movement to rescue Nigeria. Those who have destroyed our country must be shown the way out. Nigeria’s future belongs to her Youth.
“Kano, here we come; a new united and secure Nigeria is POssible. Nigerians need a leadership that they can trust. Kano, you can make it happen!”
