‘Yuletide Period’ – Second Niger Bridge ‘open for use by motorists’

The beautiful edifice was opened in the early hours of Thursday 15 December, 2022.

According to a government official, who made some comments on the development, the bridge was opened after some works were carried out on the road linking the bridge.

Last Thursday, the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola (SAN), said, the Second Niger Bridge would be open to traffic from 15 December, 2022 to 15 January, 2023, this will help reduce traffic congestion for traveller during the “yuletide period”.

The Second Niger Bridge, measuring 1.6 Kilometers links Delta and Anambra States.

On the official Twitter account of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, it says: “Fashola inspects The Second Niger Bridge in Delta and Anambra States as it Opens for Use by Motorists for the Yuletide Period”.
