Also, Governor Sanwo-Olu’s visit to the IGP at the Police Force Headquarters in Abuja, was to talk about “security for Lagosians”.
Mrs. Omobolanle Raheem was shot and killed on Christmas day by ASP Drambi Vandi, a trigger-happy Police Officer, in Ajah area of Lagos.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said: “I visited IGP Usman Baba Alkali at the Police HQ, Abuja where we discussed security for Lagosisns as we go into the new year as well as the recent death of Bolanle Raheem.
“I stressed the need for transparent investigation and prosecution of the culprit(s).”
“The outcome of the investigation of the case is very important to the State. Due process must be followed in ensuring justice for the victim and her family.”
