Manager Otto Addo has parted ways with the Ghana National Football Team following their elimination from the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar at the group stage.

In the final match of Group H, Ghana fell to Uruguay by two goals to nil at the Al Janoub Stadium on Friday 2 December.
Addo, 47, a former Ghana international took over from sacked Milovan Rajevac in February, as interim head coach initially, however, was handed a deal until the end of December.
Otto Addo also has a deal as talent coach at German Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund.
He was born to Ghanaian parents in Hamburg, Germany, and has spent most of his playing days and career in the European country.
He said: “I always said if we qualified for the World Cup I’d resign afterwards, even if we were world champions.

“My family see our future in Germany.
“Football is beautiful, sometimes it is ugly. It is ugly for us today. We have to learn and I’m very sure we will learn from this in the future.”
