This is coming after Brazil were thrown out of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar by Croatia in the quarter finals encounter at the Education City Stadium.

The Checkered Ones discomfited the Seleção Canarinho in penalty shootout 4-2 to progress into the semi finals to slug it out with Argentina who beat Netherlands on penalties 4-3.

The world football tournament in Qatar was Neymar’s third outing for Brazil, the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward broke down in tears after Marquinhos’ penalty kick hit the post, handing the Checkered Ones the passage into the last-4 of the tournament.

30-year old Neymar opened up to newsmen in Al Rayyan in Qatar following the painful fall to the Croats, “Honestly, I do not know.”

According to ESPN Sports Network, Neymar said: “I think talking now is bad because of the heat of the moment. Maybe I’m not thinking straight. To say that this is the end would be rushing myself, but I don’t guarantee anything either. Let’s see what happens going forward.”

Neymar told Globo, a Brazilian network, “I can’t guarantee that I’ll play another [World] Cup.

“I honestly don’t know. I’ll play like it’s the last. Maybe I’ll play another one, maybe not. It depends. There’s going to be a coaching change and I don’t know if that coach will like me.”
