Memphis Depay inspired the Dutch side to a comfortable win against the Americans with an early lead in the 10th minute of play. Daley Blind extended Netherlands lead with the second goal.
The Americans pulled one back in the 76th minute through Haji Wright, who had only come on for nine minutes.
Denzel Dumfries who assisted both Depay and Blind goals, sealed victory for the Dutch Eleven with the third in the 81st minute.
Netherlands scale through into the quarter finals while USA are out of the tournament.
