A win for Morocco is a win for the whole Africa. Just one match remaining for the Atlas Lions to reach the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Morocco has really hit it big by becoming the first African nation to reach a world cup semi final after beating a Portugal side that dominated for most of the encounter by a lone goal.
The match which took place at the Al Thumama Stadium, saw Cristiano Ronaldo’s side get knocked out of the FIFA World Cup 2022.
In the 42nd minute of play, striker Youssef En-Nesyri found the back of the net for the Atlas Lions via a header to ignite a joyous jubilation in a stadium occupied mostly by supporters of the North African nation.

Former Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, came off the bench to equal the men’s all-time appearance record of 196 in international matches, however, he could not help the Selection of the Shields back into the encounter.
