In the 55th minute, Lovren crossed from the right and Perisic headed home brilliantly from 14 yards to become Croatia’s record goalscorer in major tournaments.
It ended 1-1 after 90 minutes. For the first time at the 2022 World Cup, we went to extra time and had another 30 minutes of action.
The teams couldn’t be separated.
Croatia scored three penalties and their keeper, Livakovic, the hero on the night, saved three.
