FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022: England 3-0 Senegal – Three Lions through to quarter finals, to face France

England have qualified for the quarter finals of the FIFA World Cup 2022 after cruising through Senegal 3-0 in the match at the Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar.

The Three Lions will slug it out with France in the last eight, the Les Bleus discomfited Poland 3-1 to scale through.

Jude Bellingham set up the first goal for Jordan Henderson in the 38th minute with a beautiful cross, also the German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund midfielder, supporting in the second goal, teaming up with Phil Foden as Harry Kane, captain of the Three Lions, made it two for European side in the 3rd minute of the first half additional time.

It was Harry Kane’s first goal of the tournament.

Foden went ahead to assist again in the third goal which sealed victory for Gareth Southgate’s side, crossing the ball for Bukayo Saka who finished past Senegal goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
